Diamond Foods Expansion
When Diamond Foods sought to expand their existing Salem, OR production facility by 5000 square feet under a compressed timeline, LAE jumped in to help with the design. LAE worked closely with Diamond Foods and a team to create a structure that would maximize storage space and forklift access while meeting the needs of equipment loading and layout. Careful coordination with the existing building was required.
The project allowed Diamond to expand the flavor offerings of its Kettle Brand potato chips. LAE successfully met the challenge of working within the existing building’s unique structural system and requirements. LAE services included design and construction documents, as well as construction administration.
