Applied Physics Technologies

Applied Physics Technologies, a manufacturer of commercial cathodes, had outgrown its existing production cleanroom at its facility. Livermore Architecture & Engineering developed a design to rebuild and expand the ISO 6 cleanroom to 2,600 SF and alter the adjacent spaces. LAE assisted with the equipment layout within the cleanroom to ensure that the spatial layout was optimized for the client’s operations. Also included in the scope was an exterior mechanical equipment area and elevated equipment platform.

The second phase of the project consisted of interior renovation to the micromachining, employee breakroom, and toilet room areas. LAE provided interior finish selection for the renovated areas of the building.
