Hiro moved stateside from Japan for college and joined Livermore in 2004. He has worked on projects ranging from restaurants to complex industrial facilities with hazardous occupancies. Hiro has special expertise with interior design, including the selection of finishes. He has considerable experience with the permitting process with mulitple jurisdictions – he understands the procedures required and excels at working with city officials to get projects permitted. Hiro works well with clients and often receives comments for his attentive approach to meeting client’s needs.

When serving as a project manager, he is responsible for leading architectural programming, schematic design, consultant coordination, design development, construction documents, and construction administration. Hiro is a thorough and conscientious designer who takes great pride in the creating of quality designs and drawings.

Hiro enjoys a good game of table tennis or badminton whenever available and, when the weather warms, can be found camping or fishing. He also partakes in annual berry and cherry picking activities during the summer time.
