Hilton Lobby Renovation

Here is an unusual project for us that recently started construction. The Hilton in Vancouver, WA developed a design several years ago with an out-of-state interior designer to extensively remodel their lobby and pool areas. The improvements required a building permit and had some code compliance issues, so LAE was brought in to develop architectural and structural permit drawings, obtain permits, and assist with the contractor bidding process. Guggenheim Architecture + Design Studio worked with us to reselect many of the interior materials in the original design that were no longer available.

LAE often is brought into projects that have issues with permitting or code compliance and help get them back on track. It is not very glamorous work usually, and we generally don’t advertise it. But it is satisfying to help owners be able to see their projects realized.
