Michael joined Livermore Architecture and Engineering in the spring of 2024. Prior to this he worked on a variety of commercial, healthcare, veterinarian, and restaurant projects in numerous locations throughout the Pacific Northwest and across the country. Michael’s emphasis is on the process of conceptual design, design development, and tenant improvement projects, but he enjoys all aspects of the process as well.
He graduated with a Master’s of Architecture from Montana State University in 2011 with a focus on design and sustainable practices along with a pragmatic approach to architecture. Michael’s emphasis is on managing projects and creating high-quality design & construction drawings under tight project schedules. He is currently working towards licensure and continuing to hone his craft as an architect.
Michael was born and raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota. He began flying airplanes before receiving his Private Pilot Certificate and spent many years following this as an aerial photographer and in the aviation field. Eventually he moved to Montana to seek a degree in Architecture, and this is where he met his wife before relocating to Portland, OR. To Michael, life is an adventure; he enjoys traveling, exploring the outdoors, gardening & landscaping, as well as sketching and working on his record collection.
