[rev_slider Nyanne] The Nyanne III mixed-use building was designed by Livermore A&E in tandem with pioneering developer Roslyn Hill during broader efforts to revitalize the now-thriving Alberta Arts District. The building’s pre-engineered metal frame provided significant cost savings and helped to create the urban industrial look that directly responds to the historical context of the surrounding Alberta streetscape.  While corrugated metal panels and exposed steel stairs reinforce this industrial look on the exterior, rich wood cabinetry and stained concrete floors provide a comfortable counterpoint within its retail and residential loft spaces.

[rev_slider omsi] Livermore Architecture & Engineering, Inc. joined in a collaborative effort with InSpec Group, Sanyo North America Corp and Portland General Electric to design and construct the first publically-accessible solar canopy in North America at Portland's Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI).  This multi-modal structure provides shelter and recharging capability for up to three EV automobiles and electric-assist bicycles while also providing weatherproof lockers with integrated electrical outlets for its users.  In total, the Sanyo-provided solar array can generate up to 10,000 killowatt hours of renewable power per year.

[rev_slider imex] Livermore Architecture & Engineering, Inc. provided building design services for the IMEX Toner Manufacturing Facility consisting of a 23,000 square foot building replete with a 4,000 square foot office area, 9,000 square foot manufacturing area and 10,000 square foot warehouse/employee services area. In response to IMEX’s specific manufacturing process, tilt-up concrete bearing walls spanning a full 52’-0” in height were used in tandem with a steel beam and joist roof structure. As part of the design, Livermore A&E developed a detailed 3D structural model for an intricate interior process equipment platform.  This model ensured the client’s complex process requirements were met while also facilitating coordination across all design disciplines, including piping, material lifts and electrical controls.
