Ixtapa Restaurant’s small restaurant in Hood River has been so successful that the owner decided to expand to a new building on Cascade Avenue. The new 6400 square foot restaurant has seating for about 220 patrons in the main dining area, bar, and outdoor seating area. The building was designed in a style that fuses elements of Pacific Northwest and Mexican architecture. The exterior of the building is clad with stucco, stone veneer, and tile roofing. Interiors feature a warm palette of wood trim, stained concrete floors, oversized columns, and other features.
Livermore Architecture & Engineering provided architecture, structural engineering, and MEP engineering (through consultants).
